Cosmetic direct – new electronic submission portal for registration of cosmetic facilities and products with the FDA

The FDA recently launched the platform Cosmetic Direct for the registration of both facilities and cosmetic products, required by MoCra law (Cosmetics Regulation Modernization Law), published in 2022.

This is an electronic shipping portal, that allows the creation of structured product labeling (SPL), where you can find the forms and instructions for the easy and simple introduction of information. Thus, Cosmetic Direct creates and saves the information presented in this format and sends it directly to the FDA for internal processing.

SPL allows control of the information required in each of the products, resulting in a labeling standard, which is why the FDA has decided to include this tool to ensure greater control of the cosmetic market.
